What they can carry is only limited by your imagination. They can pack anything from bottled or canned beer, wine, champagne, pop, or candy, party favours, etc. As long as it's not too heavy.
We are fully insured and our handlers hold a valid pro serve license so no one will be over served or illegally served. In order for our donkeys to carry alcohol you must provide us with proof of your liquor licence and we encourage you to carry special event liability. We are also AHS approved as sanitation is an utmost priority.
Our donkeys are always well prepared, they carry a very discreet bag under their tail, so if the need arises the donkey is able to make a deposit in a contained unseen way. If there is a chance of damaging flooring the donkey can be equipped with little booties for their hooves to protect it.
We do not sell alcohol, we only serve what the venue or client provides us with. The donkeys come equipped with a pack which allows for the donkey to comfortably carry beverages in ice for the event.
Not sure if your venue will approve? Contact us and leave us with your venues contact information and we can inquire on your behalf. Venue managers are always amazed at how docile our donkeys are and are quick to be the first to meet them upon arrival at their venue.
If you are booking animals to be used on municipal property you will need permits, and you are responsible for obtaining them. We do not obtain permits of any sort. If a permit is not obtained, and we are removed from the site, funds are forfeited by you.
Donkeys will arrive cleaned and tidied approximately 15 minutes prior to starting of the event. They will be tacked up and loaded with beverages or party favors that you or the venue have supplied. The donkeys handler will then lead the donkey to where the party is happening to make the surprise entrance for your guests.
We highly suggest keeping your fingers with food to yourselves and away from the donkey. As feeding a treat to a donkey takes some skill so they don't accidentally mistake your fingers as food too. Please ask your handler if you may and if the time is right they can assist you in teaching you how to safely feed the donkey a treat.
